Adults

I’ve never heard anyone say they regret learning the piano but I have heard lots say they regret giving up!

Whether you are a complete beginner or returning after many years of not playing, it is never too late to learn.

By embarking on courses and learning new things myself, I know how it feels as an adult to be out of your comfort zone and wondering if you are able to do something. So I always show my students patience and understanding as I take you through step-by-step on your journey discovering the delights of making music you want to play.

Adults tend to be surprised at how quickly they make progress and this is normally due to a lifetime of listening to all genres of music, which subconsciously has already helped develop their rhythm and pitch skills.

I think making music is a wonderful way of expressing ourselves and escaping from day-to-day life and work. I also believe playing the piano helps to reduce anxiety and stress and so do some of my students, as you can read from one of their testimonials.

Please contact me for more information or to book a lesson. I now offer face to face and online piano lessons.
