As well as playing the piano from a young age I have also worked through the exams with the London College of Music up to grade 8. I have enjoyed teaching the piano for over 15 years, and in 2013 gained the highly-regarded Cert PTC –  The Piano Teachers Course run by EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association*) which is the UK’s leading professional development course, solely for piano teachers. I feel it is extremely important to improve my knowledge and keep up to date with current pedagogy (teaching) ideas so I can give my students the most meaningful musical experience.

I teach music theory from the very first lesson to ensure students have a full understanding of the music they are playing.

I am absolutely passionate about sharing my love of music and playing the piano to both children and adults in a positive teaching atmosphere.
